For the older channels out there... do you tend to take a look at your channel's past and compare it to the present? If the archive has been saved that is.

I find it very nice to look at my old background and layout design, along with the channel description and comments. I think it's motivating seeing how have you changed during that period and demotivating, seeing how has YouTube changed >_>'

I've only been at it seriously for a little over six months but I can already tell where I am making little improvements here and there from the days of holding a camera up in the bathroom. It really is cool to see the progression. I imagine folks who have been at this since the WAY early years get a huge kick out of where they were at the start. Looking at you Ryan Higa.
 
I have used that but to look back at other channels :P Now huge ones when they had a few 100 subs etc
 
I have to look at old and almost forgotten channels then. Where I thought I could do something like a tech/gadget channel. Nope...won't go there again :D
