Voice Actor in need of ideas

Hello everyone,
I apologize in advance if this comes off as amateur, as this is my first post.
My name is Brian Brown. I am a new/amateur voice actor for animation and video games who recently started youtube. I have some ideas as to what I want to do on my channel (in addition to simply uploading demo reels of progress I have made for roles I've been casted in.)
I'm also a writer for video game/animation so I've been doing reads for my own work for characters I created myself, and thought about doing my favorite lines for video games (not impersonations).
I mainly would just like some help as to what else I could do. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Voice acting? Ah, sounds like so much fun. I wish you the best of luck with it, doing videos on YouTube as a demo reel makes a lot of sense. Welcome to the forums!

I'm trying to get into the same industry. I've done plenty of stage acting but as im working majority of the day now i'm wanting to do more voice over stuff but I dont know where to start with regards to finding auditions.

For ideas for voice overs I would say either snippets from books etc like audio logs?
You could maybe find and record scripts from adverts?
I'm currently writing a script for a possible amature film or play I could give you a snippet of that if you like? Its a comedy based on the gaming world lol....Its basically a guy trapped in a world where online gaming meets board games and how the two clash against each other due to their own seperate rules.

Could also script characters from some cartoons? Like transformers? Thundercats? Danger mouse? Not impersonations of course but it gives you more material to play around with.

There should also be a website dedicated to monologues and duologues from many different plays if need be.
