Vlogging Style

I think vlogging is probably up there as one of the most popular kinds of video on Youtube, and so if you're doing them I think it's especially important to make them good quality. Recently, I've been trying to make my vlogs better, and despite making a video on improving your vlogs, I think it's always important to try to better yourself. I've been trying to add gimmicks and inside jokes for the viewers to enjoy lately, and personally I think my vlogs are a million times better because of it.

Is this a good thing or a bad thing? Do you do the same, and if so, does it work well?

I think you just answered your own question there! I wouldn't go too gimmicky, but I would say that anything which makes your audience feel that they're part of an inside circle is only a good thing. Make them feel like they're friends with you.

I'm just curious to see what other people think Yeah, one of my friends said the same thing. I just want to keep it to a maximum of maybe 4 jokes like that, change them up every now and then, and kinda bring them up when nobody expects it. I've seen it done well, so I'm just seeing if I can do it with my own additions. Thanks though

To be fair mate its good content and i enjoyed it (i subbed)! But maybe its not you in the vlogs that you need to step up? For example just maybe try get some better lighting in there because it feels a little dim. Also maybe try stepping up your thumbnail game? In fact if you want i can make some for you. Free of charge man! You seem cool and all and i need a youtube friend xD

Thanks for the sub man! I just bought a new LED light, so I'm just trying to grasp it and stuff, plus with it being Winter, lighting is a pain, but thanks, I'll take it into consideration. I can make thumbnails, I'm just really lazy and try to keep it simple, but I've been thinking about putting a banner with a watermark on all my thumbnails, so I'll probably get on that at some point.
