Vlogging Backgrounds

Not sure if this should go here so move to correct place if I'm wrong! ANYWAYS! Just wanted to know what everyone uses for backgrounds while vlogging or doing update videos and what you all recommend have as a background

The default would be a dark toned wall with stringed lights in the background.

I tried out a few backgrounds but now i have just kinda stuck with my bedroom but with a blurred out background (shallow depth of field) so a blurry darkish background lol

Agree with both @TheScarletBlaze and @LyfeWithDragons. You can't go wrong with the darkish blurred background.

I've used in my vlogs my computer screen with a background that correlates to what I'm talking about in that video. I think it looks decent, but I guess it's all on preference!

IMHO I don't believe that backgrounds matter, I would suggest to avoid dynamic or bright ones like the people above me mentioned. They tend to take the viewer's attention away. One of my favorite vloggers vlogs while he is out on a walk. and cuts (while talking) to show the scenary

I do not vlog a lot, but I do watch vlogs! From a viewer point of view, I do not like there to be a lot of distracting things in the background - especially if you want the viewer to focus on the content of what you're discussing. If you're talking about a certain topic or environment (etc.) try to incorporate that into your background somehow. Best of luck to ya!
