Vlogger needs advice on branching out.

Hello everyone. I have a channel where I post regular episodes of me babbling about science and tech current events. I don't see this ending however I've had an itch to expand into gaming videos and wanted some advice. I'm not sure if I should release both blog and gaming videos under the same channel or if I should create a second channel.

Also the game I'm thinking of using is Diablo3. From what I've read I don't have to worry about copywrite issues. Is that correct?

You're getting pretty good views for the subs on what you're currently doing. I would suggest making a separate channel for that.
 
I agree you have a number of good views for your sub count, but your sub count is a bit new and low, so maybe throw up 1-2 videos in that new genre (with an announcement that you're doing it) and see what happens. You can always move them to a separate channel, if you'd like.

Personally, I'd create a second channel, purely because having looked at your channel, you've had this thing of yours going on for quite a while and it seems to be doing just fine.

There's no reason you wouldn't be able to segue your other channel into the videos you usually make and you can always link back to your regular content for those who aren't familiar with it.

On another note, I do quite like your channel name! I'm always looking to expand my pool of knowledge so I may have to take a look at your stuff.

Thanks. I did end up making a second channel, and cross linking the two, and posted a few videos already. It's just slow going and I'm whining, lol. But its still fun. I need to remind myself to de- couple my desire for game and power from my activities to have fun. Conquering the world can wait.
 
Ok now I have a question about the audio of my gaming videos. Is my voice super echo- y and annoying? I'm using the Mic on my PlayStation eye. I know it's not the best. Just wondering if I should give in and invest in a better Mic or if what I have is fine.
