There's nothing to be puzzled about. Creators often make hundreds or even thousands of videos before one goes viral. The same goes for networks/video licensing companies. They try to license videos before they go viral so they can get a cut in case it does, but it's like playing the lottery. They may have to license 100k videos before they find one that gives them a payout. Here's the part they're not telling you. A video won't go viral because of them, so signing with them won't do a single thing-and if your video does go viral, they'll likely make you a real offer that will take a much lower percentage than what they're promising now. Anything they tell you about Content ID and video rights isn't anything you don't already get from Adsense and if any company that wants to use your video would contact you directly anyway instead of only buying through a service like theirs. So what are they good for? Not much unless your video is already viral. They count on you buying into the BS and signing the agreement.
