Viral videos. Good or bad?

Just wondering if people think if creating a viral video is good or bad.

Making a Viral video is amazing, I have had a video hit over 3 million views however it is creating the content after it goes viral that matters!

Bad.
Most "viral videos" nowadays are garbage. Lots of them are either of babies farting or cats falling. They're not very good and are overrated.
However, if you make a video you think is good and it gets really popular, then that is a good thing.
