Hey All

just thought i would ask here as i always seem to get a good answer. when you get views on your videos on 3rd party sites, The ones that open a youtube window not uploaded to there site.

How many days behind are the views ? just had 470 views on a video on a 3d party site but my Youtube page does not show these extra views. I thought it was a few days but not Sure.

Thanks in advance

I have the same problem. One of 3rd party sites shows about 700 views on their sites, but when I check out YT analytics it says like 2 or 3 views from that site. That's a pretty big difference ;)

i only added it to there site yesterday so i imagined a few days delay how long ago did you do it ?

Check this out: videobash.com/video_show/tell-me-a-joke-russian-gangsta-telling-jokes-episode-2-3115581

This video was added about a week ago. Right now it shows 908 views on 3rd party site.

But when you check out this video on my channel, YouTube says it was watched... 57 times OVERALL. :O

used the same site and have the same problems. Just not sure if or when they will update[DOUBLEPOST=1424096577,1424096135][/DOUBLEPOST]Just checked Analytics views from external sites last update is the 11th so about 5-6 days behind at the moment

It's also possible that YT counts a view in a different way then the 3rd party site.

For eg. for YT a view could mean that someone watched at least 20 seconds of the video and for the other site it could mean just clicking the link do the site with embeded player and not even pressing play.

I just checked it and Videobash counts a view as just opening a site with embeded player. So even if you don't hit play it's still counted as a view by Videobash. You can easily check this out just by refreshing the page with you video.

right thanks i will check in 6 days and see how many views YT counts in analytics and just go from there, doubtfull anyone will refresh a page 11k times though some even half have to count as real views
