Videopad good or bad?

i was told to download videopad because its close to sony vegas. now im trying to use it but is it the best way to edit a video for making highlight videos. im trying to learn how to use it but i could use some help on using it

the only thing close to sony vegas is adobe premiere.

I strongly recommend Vegas. Videopad is not the best software that is free. It has a free trial, its bad.

Adobe Premiere gives some good things for $20/month. Or, use Windows Live Movie Maker, but it provides a black screen around the video.

Strongly recommend Vegas though. Its a flat price of $600, but worth it. No need to upgrade later on. There are ways to get a patch and get it for free, I did it, it works.
