I was wondering if it is frowned upon by most YouTubers to send them videos? Do most people consider it spam or is it like advertising in comment sections. Thanks for reading and please respond on how you feel about people sending others videos.

I honestly hate it when people send me their stuff. It's very annoying.

I do send my videos to people, I always explain what my channel is about, I act like I'm making a presentation to a potential employer.

I personally don't do it, but if it's done right by the person, like how deanthedinosauce says he does then I don't think it could be considered spam. The only time I think it would be like spam is if the person just sends it and says something along the lines of "hey check this video out" with no explanation of what it is or lies about the video content. I don't know if I made any sense...but yeah

Do you mean sending vids to your contacts? All my contacts added me and I added them in response. So my attitude is that if they add me as a contact then spamming my vids at them is what they get!
