Video Ruined...

Have you ever had a video that just didn't work out for you in the time that you had? I was working on a video and I only have a day and a half to work on my videos. I want to post a video every week, but at this point there's just too much going on in the video to get it done today. SO I am now working on a smaller video that I can upload by around six tonight.

I was wondering has this ever happened to you? Is so what did you do, did you give up, did you upload the crappy video, or did you just come up with something completely different?

I once did a raw 20 mins footage and had to edit it for a 5 mins video only to find out that I was blurry the whole time and my background was clear. O_O I deleted the footage and started again.

I've had ideas which i didnt find that funny after i finished filming and was in the editing process. I just dump it and just dont upload that week and work on the next one.

I'm feeling like I'm at that point. I've been editing since 9 this morning and its going on 3. I think I'm going to try something else, if that doesn't work I may just try again next week.

I worked on a cover of a song for, I think, 2-3 days, and when I was finally done, and incredibly pleased with the end result, I decided to render it.
The it crashed and corrupted all the save files linking to the main file...I was a little bit upset....yeah...just a little bit....

Well for this current obstacle, is there anyway to use what you have and then do like a "to be continued..." for next weeks video? And looking to the future, I've seen a lot of folks suggesting having like a few weeks worth of videos already shot and ready to go so that you can eliminate the stress of last minute preparations. Maybe something to work on as you have the time.

Sorry that you're dealing with this. )= Good luck.

I had to just archive the video for now, I need to just add a little more TLC before I upload it. I like the idea of having a little stockpile of videos at my disposal. That's definitely something I'm going to look into doing. For now I just created a little video with things moving in reverse, it looks pretty neat.
