Video response ideas?

Does anyone have any good ideas or suggestions for a short and effective video response. I recently was suggested to use video responses to promote my channel and post them to similar videos to mine. And do people treat video responses as spam, and are they effective to getting people to your channel?

I have my videos posted to similar videos... I usually at least wait for a response to my comments before I do it though, otherwise it's kind of like spam. I did an experiment once and did a response to a Lady Gaga song and got 35 views from it that day, but it was bumped out by someone else's responses almost instantly, lol. On some of my more popular videos I do a response to myself with my less popular videos, it seems to actually get a l ot of views that way.

Sorta. If your title is interesting, and the thumbnail seems... approachable. Then, while they watch it (you have 10 seconds to entertain them, before they click away.) do whatever to lure them. Hopefully they will subscribe while they're there.

I dunno, I generally just post what I think about their videos if I like them. A lot of times it will be something that truly interests me, so i will just ask them questions or relate to their video somehow.

So you would just say something about how you liked the video. And then wait for them to reply to post a response or do it with the comment?

I dunno, I don't really go in all the time with the idea of doing a video response most of the time anymore. Generally if the person is chatting back & forth with you they will probably respond to a video response positively if I feel like doing one.

It will help you a lot to gain more exposure of your videos. Do make use of bulk edit in the dashboard.
