Undiscovered....
Hi all,
I used to use my iPhone to film a lot of my videos, and edit within iMovie. While the iPhone quality was excellent (HD) I found imovie used to struggle with shadows etc. I noticed banding in the output which looked awful when uploaded to youtube. I lived with it a while but as my subscriber base went up and youtube started to earn me some money I decided to upgrade my equipment.
First I moved to Final Cut Pro X. This was the single best move I could have made. The video editor is very important for my videos and final cut gave me the flexibility to do so much more with my videos then imovie ever allowed me to do.
I also decided to invest in some new equipment, such as a DSLR, tripod, mic, some lighting, etc.
My last one or two videos look much better on my monitor. No banding, nice quality, etc.
I would be very grateful if you could test one or two of my last few videos for me on your monitors/browsers and let me know what the quality is like? I just want to ensure the videos are looking good across a wider audience rather then just my MacBook screen!
Thank you in advance.
On another note, what recording equipment do you use, if any??
