Video publishing date reset/bug?

I have a video that I had uploaded back in 2009, I adjusted some settings on it (changed the listing type) and now it's first on my "Recent Uploads" on my channel (using then new YT interface)... The record date is still Jan 01, 2009... anyone else run into anything similar where the date reset? And if so do you know if it's permanent or just temporary?

Haha I wish, I'd take 498 views in 2 hours. The popular vids are listed underneath that row on my channel. I may just have to hide the video.
