Video output looks slightly worse without AA

Doom Video Vault

I Love YTtalk
If anybody knows about the ports for Doom like ZDoom and such, GZDoom has an option to turn off anti-aliasing for that "classic" feeling being pixelated than smooth. However I have noticed recently after rendering non-AA videos with the same exact codec (H.264,1 pass, average bitrate @ roughly 1200 kbps ) settings as videos with AA, they look slightly worse when I quickly view them

Does anyone know why my videos would look a little worse qualitywise than viewing a video with AA?

AA is for smoothing the edges anyway. So it's probably a little worse when rendered.
