Video not showing up in subscriber's subscription boxes!

Hi all,

I posted my latest video this evening and for some reason it is not showing up on my subscriber's subscription pages. They can see the video on my channel's page but they weren't notified about the video being uploaded nor is it showing on that page. It is also not showing on my Published Videos box on my YouTube Studio dashboard, yet it is clearly published and is showing up publicly.

Its very odd! I know when it was processing it came up with an error that it didn't process properly, but then it seemingly uploaded fine after that. So unless something has glitched I'm not sure!

It's not the biggest deal but a shame as subs won't see the video unless I've spoken to them personally.

sadly this is pretty common. Not sure why in your case, but Philip Defranco's videos often get suppressed even though I watch all his videos and ring the bell and everything,

also i think theres a check box you can uncheck to not notify your subscribers on upload. maybe that got uncheck when you were uploading?

Thank you for your reply, I'll definitely keep an eye out on my future uploads to check I haven't unchecked anything or if it happens again. I'm hoping it was just a glitch when it was processing!

yup. That's about it. Happened to me a few times. Eventually it will show up, but it didn't right away. A friend saw I had a new video on Facebook, loaded up his youtube and his sub feed and could not find it. Had to go back to Facebook and click the link to watch it. So it definitely happens. For me hasn't happened in a year or so.

Luckily my latest uploads haven't run into the same issues, I think it was definitely down to the glitch when processing. Fingers crossed I avoid it in future!
