Video ideas for a vlogger/musician?

OKAY so I had this thing where I was going to post every Monday (and I never said that, but it was kind of like an unspoken thing I did) and it's been two weeks now, and I still haven't posted a new video.
Basically I have no idea what to post. :cold::hot::cold:

I'm planning an upcoming cover, but I'm still getting familiar with the song and am no where near ready to record/post it. At the earliest I could have it ready by Saturday. Plus, since I'm in summer school I have a very small amount of free time to record/edit. Anyone have an ideas for something I could post to keep my subscribers engaged/(and let them know that I'm not dead)?

Any suggestions would be appreciated! :)
 
What I wouldn't do is an update video, people usually don't even really care or notice as much as you think so make sure it's something with substance. If you do feel the need to apologize for your absence I'd do it in the description, not the video. Other than that just find a topic, maybe read some articles or watch other videos for inspiration. Could even do a tag.
 
Maybe you could make a musician tag. Where you answer different questions about music, like I said if there isn't one already, it would be something cool to make:) Also, I really love your cover, more of those would, I'm sure be popular! Your voice is absolutely beautiful!! Good Luck:)
 
Whenever I do covers, I skip the boring stuff and go straight to the goodies.
like if the second verse isn't memorable and people are just waiting for you to sing the chorus again. Then just sing the chorus.
heck just do first verse + chorus+ chorus+ chorus with a little outro.
The thing to realize is, you don't have to conform to the rules of the song! It's your content, do it your way!
