Video editing software for iPad mini 2?

So my laptop is kaput, and I’m using an old iPad. I’ve been looking in the App Store for a video editor with actual layers and inserting my own voice clips etc but no idea which allow this and the two I tried, did not.

Try Filmora. They have a free version (with watermarks) so you can test it for free before paying for it. They do support Mac but not sure about your version.
