Video/Channel Idea

So my idea is to start vlogging, i have a Galaxy s4 so a pretty decent camera as well as a 1080p camera that i plan to use for livestreaming. The main focus of the vlogs will be weight loss, i really really want to do it and feel having people know about the progress is a good driving force that i need.

The question is..do i put the vlogs on my gaming channel? or do a make a new seperate channel and simply link it? due to vlogging having nothing to do with my main channels goals and direction?

Make a new channel for sure. Also you can make videos about anything and people will watch, take my content for example; I do RTS games (Only Supremacy 1914 at the moment) and I still get decent views, hours watched and comments and likes. Just make sure that your videos are top quality.
 
I'd say just do it all in 1 channel since it's going to be harder to get yourself out there with both channels since the Youtube community is growing
 
Sometimes people do it all in one channel, but it would be entirely up to you,

It can be done both ways, people will sometimes tell you if they like the format or not.
