Video annotations not showing up...

Hey everyone!

I have a small question for you; For about 8 weeks now annotations on videos have not been showing up at all. With this I mean the little boxes with text in the that you can click to subscribe to someone or follow an external link somewhere that sit sort of "on top" of the video you're watching. I was wondering if any of you have experienced this before, or are experiencing it now, because I only noticed it a few weeks back but I haven't seen an annotation for god knows how long.

I checked on my girlfriend's computer and they show up there fine, both on my videos and on those of other people. I updated my flash player today and have not been using any pop-op blockers, I even disabled the automatic pop-up blocking in Firefox. Currently also not running any firewalls so that can't be an issue...

I'd appreciate any tips you guys have, I really miss my annotations!

EDIT: Just to be clear: I can create, place and publish annotations perfectly on my own videos, it's just that they don't show up on my computer when watching that video. They do seem to for other people, so I'm not sure what's going on here...

On the video window go down to the progress bar. You should see a square speech bubble type thing, click it once, your annotations are now on for that video.

Thanks for your suggestion, but that button doesn't even show up! I know which one you mean, and when the video loads in the first 2 seconds I can see a "loading/circle/spinny" thing in it's place, but no button appears. Again, I know exactly what it looks like, but the button never shows up so I don't get the option to turn on annotations.[DOUBLEPOST=1365722597,1365722438][/DOUBLEPOST]

I literally just tried that, although your comment made me laugh out loud :) Sorry, but no cigar...

Go to settings, and then playback, and make sure "Show annotations on videos" is checked.
