Hello

I've joined this network 2 months ago and they've said they will pay every 16th in a month. They didn't pay me and today I was messaged by another member of Vetro Digital network. He said to me he didin't get paid in 3 months so this isn't coincidence.

How can we get out of this network if they decline out request to leave network? I am aware that I probably won't get any money they owe me but at least can Youtube prevent that scamers like them don't steal others people money any more.

I've posted that same message on youtube forum help minute ago with our youtube links but I'm not alowed to post them here. I mean how youtube can allow those scammers to get other people money and you can't do anything. Then any of us should create their own network and steal people money. How can we get rid of people like this. Are there any ways to report them directly to youtube?

It's difficult for YouTube to monitor MCNs, and if a network makes them a lot of money they don't really monitor what they do.

I have seen Vetro make a number of false Content ID claims, and YouTube have shut down a number of networks in the past month. We'll see if anything happens to them, they're not a huge network.

YouTube doesn't really care which is just sad and wrong. By not getting involved into cases like this they're pretty much making a statement that they're OK with scammers and illegal activites. Pretty much like Kinguin who is OK if their vendors don't pay taxes to government of countries they reside in because apparently that's none of their concern.

I don't think you can do much about it other than possibly threating them to write about this everywhere on the internet until they're shut down for good or have nobody else to join them and fall for their lies.

YouTube do care to an extent, just hard for them to manage everything.

Do you have a contract with this network? If so you first need to check it to see what your payout threshold is. Remember you don't earn money and get paid just for being a part of a network. Your videos' ads must still earn money, and once you are in a network, you have two bites taken out of your income before the total is calculated. Both YouTube and the network now take a cut of your earnings.

It's my belief that you haven't been paid because you haven't reached your payment threshold; please check into that before you go calling any network a scam!

Addendum!

I just took a look at the OP's content. He is doing mashups of major football players' best moments, and claiming Fair Use. I now ask whether said original poster has either these players', their football clubs' or the original broadcast networks' licenses to use likenesses, broadcast clips, e.t.c. If he does have such licenses and permissions, I invite him to reply with his evidence to my post here.

Mashups, even with music added, cannot be considered Fair Use under international Copyright law as there is no real "transformational quality", or even "added value" involved. I change my diagnosis of why the OP hasn't been paid to the fact that he is using copyrighted material in which he may have no properly licensed rights, and that his network may even be aware of this fact but simply hasn't ejected him for having a channel full of non-monetizable media. Some of the videos are showing ads, but for all I know, they might have been placed by the football clubs who recognized their own media rather than by YT on the OP's behalf.

Any news from them. I mailed to them but got no answer. They have just changed the network linked with my channel to be "Alpha5" instead of "Vetro Digital" and all earning went away

With very few exceptions, pretty much every company put in the contract with foreign entities that it's completely on the other party to do their due diligence tax wise. In fact, it's up to every country tax agency to check that, why should a private company take care of that? Each governement throw away tax money already in a lot of different ways, no need to also waste resources to do tasks they are supposed to do
