Very strange problem with content theft

Hello,

I had a very successful video with more than 7 Million views, which appeared always in the first results for some specific keywords. Few days ago YouTube decided to remove this video and I believe the reason was that there were tags in the description, which is against YouTube policy.

So I had to re-upload it again, but just realized that someone has stealed my video in the past and after YouTube deleted my original video, the cloned one immediately went to the first positions in the search engine. This is a big problem, because now it will seem that my re-uploaded video is not the original one.

I have already flagged his video as a copyright infringement, however my original video is not already online. Is there a chance, that YouTube will take down his video?

Thank you!

If you owned all of the material in the source video, then yes. That doesn't necessarily mean that your reupload will make it up in the search though.
