Very Important Monetization Question

Hello, Nova here i want to activate monetization for my youtube channel right now i have 2 videos with copy right claims from monstercat. What happens is the video wont get taken down but there will be ads, i will have to give credit, and i get 0 monetization.

Now, heres my question can i activate monetization for my youtube account with those videos with the claims without taking them down? Before accepting the terms of use "I will not opt-in any content for monetization for which I do not possess sufficient rights."
 
Yeah, those videos are just copyrighted by them not any other videos you do.

Unless they are by monstercat.

or anyone else for that matter
 
Copyrighted videos can't be monetized other than the owner of that video. Monetization is not recommended right now. However you can make your original videos and gain lot of views then you can monetize them.
 
You can activate monetization for your channel with those two claimed. Just make sure you don't make anymore copyrighted content ;)
