Congrats on getting 500 subs Ju1cyJoe! 
As far as a video special, you could thank all your subscribers (not like going through your entire subscriber list as that would take too long and very tedious 
) and also maybe have a special QA/tribute/funny clip to entertain your subscribers Those are just a few ideas off the top of my head.

My subs have been going up very quickly recently and it struck me I am so so so close to 500 subs! Anyone got any ideas for what I should do for 500 subs? (Video special that is)
I'm about 120 off 500 subs...but that's the number I'm aiming for...so congrats on almost reaching that milestone!
As for what you should do...do something your subs would like (obviously relating to your video content) and of course thank them for their support! Maybe give them a sneak peek at what is coming up as well...to keep them interested![DOUBLEPOST=1374713411,1374713244][/DOUBLEPOST]
You could always do a question and answer session, or a live stream or something along those lines.

TBH...I don't think a Q&A is all that too good of an idea. The reason is I have close to 400 subs, but they are not very active in comments...and also not very active when it comes to viewing my new videos (I get most views on new vids from friends).
If you have very active subs then Q&A all the way...but in my experience I don't think that's the way I would go if I hit 500 subs

Wow this brings back memories! When i hit 500 subscribers, i organised an event for people to throw a bunch of cream pies in my face for a video. Not saying you should do the same thing but that was what i did.
