First, sorry if I'm not in the right section. Here's my issue.
Loged in today on Youtube and saw the infamous popup "to verify it's me". Of course, when I click on "Proceed", I get redirected in a Google error page saying (see screnshot) :
"Because you’re attempting a highly sensitive action, we need to be sure that it’s really you. At the moment, we can’t. Try again from a device that you normally use (such as your phone or laptop) or from the location that you usually sign in from."
So of course I googled it and it seems to be "usually" resolved by deleting cookies, cache etc. I've done it many times using CCleaner and other stuff to make sure everything is gone but still, I get the popup everytime.
So here are a few things :
- I'm of course on the device I usually use, from which I uploaded videos etc. I'm on Firefox windows 11 but problem goes as well with Edge and I tried on another laptop in Windows 10, still the same.
- My google account already has the 2 step verification, an other mail adress and a verified telephone number. Doesn't change anything.
- On my google account, it already says my account is verified by my phone number and everything is fine there. wtf is wrong with youtube ?
- I get on touch with a microsoft assistant on the live chat who just said to go check for help on Bing.com lmao
No matter what I do, I always come back to the page you can see in screenshot.
Already posted on the YT official forum but no one answered me.
I'm a bit off of solutions 'cause I tried everything I saw on Google and I can't do anything on my YT channel (the pop up spawns as soon as you do an action). I'm slightly becoming crazy here.
