Today I've been trying to improve my YouTube channel as much as I can, more the SEO side of things. So I've written a channel description now, something I overlooked before, ensure I've got keywords and updated descriptions as well as a few other things.
Then I was going through all the different things on YouTube and went to messages to find that I had a message from a YouTuber. To begin with I was rather skeptical of this because I've had messages before from people claiming to be someone and then it's not.
However, I noticed the little verified tick next to their name. I then went to their YouTube channel, it was still there so it's not some sort of trick or anything and they have close to 1m subscribers.
They found me through VidStatsX, which makes sense as I did do an advert on there once, the little paid box thing.
This was a month ago now, YouTube never seems to notify me when I get messages which is really frustrating. I've replied and then realized I should email them because if they reply to the message again, I may not see it for a while.
Just wanted to share this and see if anyone else has had such an experience and if people think it's too late now, given it was a month ago? They just said they saw me on VidStatsX and to message them back.
