I am launching a youtube channel with original content and graphics made by me. I will be talking over the video with pictures that are not copyrighted
Will I get copyrighted if I used the first 2-8 seconds of any of the 1000 Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tracks? I planned on just keeping the volume at normal volume at the start of the song as a tone-shift within each subject (as I am talking) - and then turning down the dB significantly while I am still talking for at least 1 minute.
Can't really get a clear answer on this subject. People have said I should be fine if I am talking while the dB is reduced significantly, mainstream and generalist youtubers have said it is a Myth to think I am safe if I do this, but there are literal gaming youtubers using their music in the background - see attached - Gamexplain.
Although Gamexplain is a channel with 1M subs - should I just assume they get away with it cause they have a deal with nintendo or something?
Please help: my launch content depends on my music
