Simple question, and i ask this on behalf of myself and anyone else out there wondering the same thing (Yes believe it or not some people have asked me this question and I've had to respond with "I don't know").
The question is; can Kickstarter.com be used to help raise funds to essentially 'kick start' your YouTube channel?
For those of you who don't know what Kickstarter is; it's pretty much a website that allows you to raise money for your 'self projects' by allowing others to donate or pledge a custom amount towards it.
The website has quite a lot of rules as to whats classified as a "project" and what isn't. The thing that catches me is; could people essentially use this to raise money to help improve their channel content wise? I have seen tones of people raise to 'kickstart' their album or music carrear so what is the different between a YouTube channel?
Anyway there are rules and guidelines; i guess a sub-question would be does YouTube count as a "project" ?
**EDIT**
Never mind, i actually have my answer. You can't because its a carrier which Kickstarter.com don't allow.
