Using C148's Music in Minecraft Videos Allowed?

Hi all,

I was wondering, if I bought the soundtrack (Volume Beta) from Minecraft at his bandcamp, (a music hosting website, I can't post the link) would I be allowed to use that edited in the video and monetize it without getting in trouble?

If it's music that's playing in the game in the video then it's fine, but this violates Mojang's TOS. If you use it in a video of a Minecraft Let's Play you'll probably get away with it.

Yeah, it really sucks that there are laws in place to allow artists to protect their content, decide who can use their content and make money off it. I hate the fact that I can't just use anything I want without having to care about the wellbeing of who made it.

I'm sorry I really didn't mean for it to sound like that. For the videos I make I use songs that I like and animate them into music videos. I don't/don't want to monetize my videos for that reason, since half of the video isn't "mine". I respect that there is limitations, but what I was saying is that I hate how when I use the songs I can't change the thumbnails and it gets blocked in a country or two.
