I currently have a crappy USB Mic that performs very well for voice overs but clip and distort when I sing too loud (I can sing super loud).
I'm wondering if there are any USB condenser mics below $200USD that I could record powerful vocals without distortion? The cheaper the better. Or do I have to go XLR + audio interface?
Also to add, this crappy mic distorts and clips even with gain turned all the way down in audacity AND Windows. Not looking for amazing sound (e.g. not investing in soundproofing my room yet), just non distorted lol
