Loving YTtalk
Hey guys, so I went to Google AdSense and submitted a form to get paid for my YouTube content. I looked at the requirements and I meet all of them (I think) but I think my latest video is stopping me. If you've seen it, then you would know I have inserted a Copyright song, but the publisher hasn't blocked the video and still allow me to have it up, but that means I have a copyright notice on this video:

Do I:
A) Remove Song - And put annotation up saying why it's removed
B) Re-Upload the video with a non-copyright song (Means I will lose views and comments)

Please give me your thoughts!

Let the video stay there, just don't monetize this video! You will get approval from adsense soon! But Im not sure if they will approve it bcz of ur video! You just wont be able to monetize this video!

WIth 53 subscribers and 300 views, there's really no point in monetizing your channel right now. Build up your views and subscriber base first rather than push any possible fans away with ads… especially since you won't be earning anything anytime soon anyway.

Don't worry about that video for now, a 3rd party claim won't hurt you down the road, but, for the future, don't use music you don't have the rights to. There is plenty of great free music out there.

You have the option to remove the 'claimed song' and even add yt music in it without deleting or reuploading it.

I would try A, but YouTube's audio removal tool doesn't always work in which case you'd have to do B. Tis happened to me before.

I would say don't worry about it until you have a larger audience, and for the future try not to use any copyrighted content, but you already know that ;)
