upload new video to appear older?

Strange question.. But If i upload a new video and select the upload date from the 'recording date' within edit video/ advanced .. and enter a date from a couple of months back.. does that mean that the new upload will appear behind the order of the others? Or will it still show first as the most recent upload? I ask because I'm remaking an old video I didn't like and i prefer it looked like an old upload. Can you do that? thanks

Oh also. when I upload If i unselect checkbox for 'Publish to Subscriptions feed and notify subscribers' does that do:
(a) still appears on their subscription feed but does not ring the bell thingy.
or (b) my subscribers won't be bothered by this in their subscription feed at all? They would only find it if they was looking on my channel page?

The recording date is just information you as a creator can look back on and see what exact day that video you made was created as opposed to uploaded. As for the second part of your question it will be (b), and won't appear in there feed or let them be notified.
