I have to umbrella lights that i use for my videos. i usually set them up with my camera in between and the lights facing me. Is there any better way to set up the lights to get better lighting? i looked up videos on this but mostly there for 3 way lighting.

Just use the same method with your lights. Go ahead, and try to get as much natural light in the shot as possible (opening a window, door, etc.) and go from there. If you have a white wall/ceiling (or can tape blank white paper on it = no lines), tug the light back (depending on brightness), and have it bounce of the white. :D

Edit: Also!
