I have worked with an array of video editing programs in the past (not for youtube but for other stuff) and I want to share the two best ones I have found. You will need to fork over some money for these, but they are fantastic! (Google the software to find the website; I can't post links)

Pros:
- Comes with a recording program as well
- Comes with free music
- Comes with intros, outros, and free music
- You can zoom in, pan around, highlight stuff, and change audio levels
- You can edit out the mouse cursor
- Easy to use (once you get used to)
- Ability to cut, copy, paste, magnify the timeline to edit out stutters, split the video, export videos
- Expensive: $300
- You need to play around with it for a while to learn the software (a.k.a. it is hard to pick up)
Pros:
- Cheap(er):$130
- Can import media and export media
- Free music
- Over 2000 transitions and effects
- Intros come with it
- Editing is more restricted (you can do more with Camtasia)
- Out of the 2000+ transitions and effects, only a handful are worthwhile
