Tube Buddy Network thoughts?

Hi YTTalkers,

So just a bit ago on here on YTTalk I saw an ad for Tube Buddy so I thought I'd have a look at it and the extension looks absolutely epic but lots of the features require either being in their network or paying monthly/yearly. So I went and checked out the network features and it looks pretty great, and (no offence to my network but) it looks so much better than the network I am with now.

Did any of you guys hear of this network, also how would I go about moving from my network to another one?

Glad you're liking TubeBuddy! It's been fun for us too having a product that is getting such positive feedback from our customers. We're just starting to watch YTTalk now for questions about TubeBuddy, sorry about the late response. There have been a couple of changes since you posted this.

The first change is that we've cut the cost in half to become a TubeBuddy Insider for a channel your size. So that might be an option that interests you more now.

The second change is that we've partnered with Freedom! MCN (freedom.tm), so if you switch to Freedom! you will get TubeBuddy for free. I checked out your MCN and they do claim a "no lock in contract", so you should be able to leave at any time. I'd contact their support if you wanted to look into it.

Finally if you're interested in other options, we'd give you a few months free if you wanted to create a TubeBuddy review video and post it to your channel. Also we have an affiliate program where you can earn money for promoting TubeBuddy (e.g. doing a review video and putting a URL in the description with your affiliate code). Becoming an affiliate could more than pay for your subscription. Finally in the near future we plan to add a refer a friend feature where if you refer people who install the plugin you'll get X months free for every Y referrals.

I think I may actually do that TubeBuddy review as you are a service that I use all the time on YouTube, and I am actually considering starting up a series with some YouTube channel setup and video creation tips in it. I think that your service would really fit in this playlist. I would appreciate the few months free but I am also happy to pay for your service after seeing the new pricing for it. Also how would I go about getting an affiliate link?

I did change my mind about moving networks for now, although I will consider Freedom! if I was to move in the future.

As for the review video, that sounds good to us if it works for you. Once you create the review, just email support (support@tubebuddy.com) and we'll get you the free upgrade.

Our affiliate program is going to be released in the next week. Once it is live, I'll update this thread with more info on how to sign up.

Sounds great!!! I'll be sure to tell you if there are any features I think of, and will tell you when the video is done. Looking forward to hearing more about the affiliate program and to get to try out some of the paid tubebuddy features when I get around to upgrading.

Just wanted to give a quick update here. We no longer have a "TubeBuddy Network" but we do work with several networks who give their users free access to TubeBuddy.
