Trimming a video in Youtube editor heads-up

Hi guys!

Yesterday I uploaded a new video and I messed something up when encoding because after my video has ended there was a minute of two of black screen.
As I did not want to re-upload the video I decided to trim it in the Youtube editor.

It takes a bit of time for Youtube to process that, but it works.
Be warned tho that it will resample the video and make the quality worse.
My video was crisp when I uploaded it and after trimming it became a bit blocky (even at 1080p).

Just a heads-up for You guys.

Oh I never tried this editor bcz I knew it takes lot of time but I didn't know that it will make the quality worse. Thanks for the info

I've never used the youtube editor, Maybe you can just edit it again and then reupload it? Unless the videos already gotten to many views.

It's not that bad. But it's definitely noticeable.

Stay right away from any online based editor... especially the YouTube one. It sucks.
