Hey guys, first vid on my channel, would really love some feedback, I really want to improve my content.
Here's the video

Something about this dog just had me stuck on him as soon as I drew him, and plus, I had him be me because I'd rather speak without holding back instead of being careful.1. Not crazy about the dog graphic. To me comedy bits should be more personable, though definitely include graphics.
Hahahaha! I actually had a few jokes in mind, but me being me when I wrote a note for talking about jared, I forgot to note down a few of them, so I ended up just leaving it as a useless cliffhanger.2. You missed a golden opportunity mentioning Jared. You could have added "without the kiddie fondling" or "who's probably getting plenty of foot longs in prison".
Hmmm... How can I make it great, or is there any example of great audio? Or was it the voice?3. Audio was good, not great.
Thanks a lot man, it took a lot of time to make the video and a few tries to get it right, I'll make sure that I go over my notes a few more times before recording to not have any missed opportunities.Otherwise very funny and you got the timing (which to me seems the hardest thing about comedy). Very good work! I am VERY impressed. Normally on a 4 minute comedy video from a newbie, I would have lasted a minute, but I watched the whole thing!
Your voice was quite good. Reminded me of a young Chris Rock and that's a massive compliment. The fault would be somewhere in your recording hardware, not knowing how you did it, I can't point to a specific weak link.Hmmm... How can I make it great, or is there any example of great audio? Yeah the recording was bad because I used my phone, can't be screaming in the house so I had to record myself in my car lol.Your voice was quite good. Instead of doing it in 1 take, perhaps try recording in segments and splicing them together.
Have you ever thought of using a puppet? I purchased a couple from this shop at etsy[dot]com DiaboloPuppets (you can see them in my last video)
For giggles look up Sabrinakom on youtube. She is a small 1 woman comedy channel and she is hilarious and magnificent production values.
Actually, I do have a better mic (Audio Technica AT2020), but can't use it in my car since it's the only place I can shout as much as I want to[emoji14]Agree with echoraven, your voice makes things funnier. I suggest investing in a better mic, as that will immediately help your entire production. Sound is very important. If you need any recommendations, let me know.
