Hey guyz, I wasnt sure where to actually put this. So I picked video Ideas! lol

I ordered Sony Vegas, So its on its way. So what Im doing atm is trying 2 do something on Windows movie maker with no success.

This would probly go out to gameing channels the most.I'll try to explain it best I can.

What I want to do is have my video like a Vlogg but have transitions 2 & from Gameplay. Pre-recorded gameplay with no commentary. But I want to have my voice continue throughout the video like It would in the Vlogg part.

EXP:

(Video of me + Voice) (Video of gameplay + Voice) (Video of me + Voice)

I really cant think of a way to explain it? Maybe if anyone has seen an TGS Podcast, how they talk over gameplay without any cuts or anything. Can I do that whitout being Live?

Im really sorry I cant explain it better, I hope you understand what I mean:(

Yup, you can do that with Sony Vegas. Since you can edit video and audio separately, and there are multiple audio tracks, you can overly your voice in one track, while making independent video/audio cuts (switch from one scene to another, etc.)

So I would be able 2 take out the video in one part, add lets say a key moment in a game, All without disrupting the audio?!

Yup, as long as it's not linked. Of course you'll take out the audio that's linked to the audio in that one part, but you won't take out your own voice over. For example, let's say you want to cut out a cutscene and put in another moment of gameplay. You'd razor tool the ends of the cutscene, delete it, and thereby deleting the cutscene's audio because they're linked, but not your own voice over (as long as it's in a different track. If it's recorded over the cutscene audio in the same file, it'll get deleted too).

Not if it's already in a different file. Lemme try to demonstrate visually.
V1 = clip 1
S1= sound of clip 1
S2 = voiceover

So in the timeline, it'd be like this: V1 V1 V1 V1 V1
S1 S1 S1 S1 S1
S2 S2 S2 S2 S2
If you deleted say the last few seconds of the clip, it'd look like this:
V1 V1 V1
S1 S1 S1
S1 S1 S1 S1 S1
and then you could insert another clip into that hole of sorts while preserving commentary. I'll try to find a video that explains it better[DOUBLEPOST=1367965110,1367964693][/DOUBLEPOST]Hmm try out this video:
