I've Got It
1. Talking to people on the game on what ever platform. Example call of duty on xbox one. Chat to your fellow team mates and be nice and mention you have a YT channel but dont push them with it if they dont want to look then thats fine leave and find others to talk to
2. On game Forums for example if your channel is fifa go on the fifa forum and ask the fifa community what they think.(be ready for negative feed back as well as positive)
3. Social media sites (Facebook, Twitter) Join groups and communicate to the group. help people out and make a name for your self. at least that way if your not getting the views you want at least you are being a nice person.
4. This Forum Its a great place everyone seems nice to help and communicate with each other. but with that said i dont think spamming your url for your channel everywhere would work out well for you nor get you the views so be considerate.
5. My last Tip of the day i would say is ask your friends if your content is good and you are proud of your channel then dont be scared to ask them to check it out, at the end of the day doing youtube videos is no longer a thing for "geeky people" or "strange people". its now a very big thing and if you do become big people you know will see your videos so why not ask them now
I hope some of these tips help you. and if you would like me to go into more detail then let me know
If these tips do help or you have any of your own then please feel free to add them
Thanks guys
