Too big zoom on my camera

Hi!

So, I have a Lumix GX800 paired with an old Pentacon 1.8/50 lens. I also have an adapter because those two have different mounts. The thing is, whth this setups everything is so close. I included a photo of myself that I took with my arm fully extended. I know I can increase the distance between me and my camera using a tripod or I can buy new lens, but is there anything that I can do without spending money? And if there is not, what cheap lens would you recommend?

50 mm won't cut it. You need a 28 mm wide angle or similar at that distance.

I would suggest you buy a 28 - 75 mm zoom or similar with macro. That will give good coverage.

Macro is very useful for close up work within two metres, if that's on the agenda.

Cheers Rob
