Ton's of video views but all videos only have a few views ??

i've seen this on several people's youtube channels now, there page will say they have like 20k views total but when you see there videos the views on them all are so low theres no way they have that many views can anyone explain this too me ??
 
Those 20k views are from all videos on the channel, meaning this includes past videos that may have been deleted or flaged, this is most likley were the channels got the views from.
