I have tons of video ideas and when i sit to record i just dont know what to say! im also having a hard time writing a script, does anyone have tips on how to format a script or anything on making a good solid script!
I get really nervous in front of a camera, so I usually have to write a script beforehand. I also have short term memory loss, so that never helps with long sentences.
But basically before recording, I start to just talk out loud about how the video would go. Eventually that turns into a script and I write it down. After that it's just simply transferring it from my notepad to my camera.
This works for me so I'll share it: I basically just start talking out loud as if I am recording a video. If I say something that sounds quite cool or relevant, I write it down and make a script that way. That way my videos don't sound scripted, they sound natural because they are
Why not try going off notecards? Write down a few short phrases or topics you want to cover and use them as a foundation for your video as opposed to writing a full script?
A few note and bullet points are useful either on a bit or paper or a computer screen are useful for a topic incase you need pointers. Try to also do a topic you know alot about. So don't start doing makeup tutorials or anything that you don't know much about.
