Time-lapse Series on my channel

I've been inspired today by the great weather we have been having here in England to start a time-lapse series on my channel. At the moment I am hoping to upload a video once each month from the same place in my parents yard (they keep it pretty well maintained!) to see how it changes throughout the year and over the course of a few years.

Does anyone have any good ideas for time lapses? I have always enjoyed time lapses and am hoping this will be fun!

I did one of my dogs when I left them at home alone. They just basically laid on the couch and moved occasionally. You could see the shadows change in the room. I thought it was interesting. So if you have pets, something like that might work.

When we build sets at the theater, we try to remember to put a camera in the corner as we're building, so we can see the whole process of set building and decoration. Maybe there's something being built around where you live that you could film?

I suggest trying to capture something moving that we can't see with our own eyes. So like stars, clouds, flowers blooming and things that move really slow. I remember one from a David Attenborough documentary where sand dunes moved in the Sahara.
