Hey everybody, I am trying to figure out something. Lately, on my videos I have been getting a lot more thumb down than usual. I do not have a big enough audience to really get non-biased feedback.
Do you think that my videos deserve thumbs down or am I just getting trolled by like 3 people?

they go in waves for me and I kind of ignore them because usually its one guy doing a bunch of dislikes all at once so he kind of invalidates his disklikes. I track the stats sometimes usually my nasty comments well actually all of them come from accounts which look like they were created just to promote other channels (no videos, no playlists, new, no photo or info )
 
That happens a lot to me too. Sometimes I think it's trolls because i've had one video where every time sometime liked my video, there was also a dislike. On another video, I had 5 likes and 0 dislikes, then all of a sudden i had 7 dislikes. I wouldn't worry too much about it, just keep making videos and you'll find your audience. We're in the same place right now.
 
oh ok. that red bar drives me nuts though. I am just trying to figure out what to change for the better. Maybe they don't like my personality, the idea... idk
 
I wouldn't think too much of, you have more likes than dislikes so at least you know the majority liked it out of those who took their time to watch and choose to like/dislike. It could be trolls but you should look at it like this, at least they aren't hating so much they dislike bot you, those things are really upsetting for people as it gives people the impression the video is rubbish when they normally aren't. It's not to do with "deserving" it or not in my opinion, to me its how they perceived the video and how they act upon their perception of the video, some are fussy and dislike everything they dont like to see, say they dont like blue coats, you one on, they're that petty to hit that dislike button, some on the other hand will dislike something when they do think its bad for whatever reason, theres too much to list really. Whatever the reason I wouldn't put much thought into it :)
 
I used to make something called gaming failshorts for a game I played. I had one guy hate my guts dislike all my videos and I was from time to time making one person or another mad at me on those gaming forums lol. In any event the video is not epic its not horrible either lol. Its my most viewed video and to this day i am always being asked advice about the game in the video lol yet apparently everyone hates it. (well 50% of people do i guess which is a lot) . Yet it has since the day it was posted always been top viewed video on my channel when I go away from using my channel due to work this thing is always generating views and comments lol. Yet everyone hates it? /shrug

 
Some people just thumbs down for the sake of being a douche. Keep making videos that you are passionate about and enjoy making. I used to let it effect me but not such much anymore you can't please everybody. Just remember to focus on the thumbs up more then the thumbs down.
 
Heya, I just watched Don't Mess With the Cyclops, and Pure Inspiration. Personally, I thought it was funny, really well shot, great quality, two excellent videos and I subbed to you. I do not think they deserved a thumbs down...BUT on Youtube, they're part in parcel lol...really, you can't please everyone, it's impossible!!! As long as you have more likes then dislikes, then it's all good!
