Thumbnails and intros?

So i really dont have any cool effects on my channel other than a channel banner, which an artistic friend was generous enough to make. So how important are thumbnails, intros and outros? And what is the best way to make a thumbnail for a video?

Well I would say they add more to your channel and allow you to show off a little more of your channel. I am not that into intros myself, but some are really good. Outros allow you to link people to your other videos and say thank you for watching and stuff. So it allows the viewer to feel a little more connected to you. Also 442 subs and only 548 views o.o...

If you want to make thumbnails than any image editing program will work. Gimp, Paint.net, Photoshop, etc...

Ya idk about a graphic intro but i definatley want to make an outro at some point. And idk its not registering my video views....another problem im having

I think an intro is quite important, especially on gaming channels when a lot of users are hard to distinguish from each other. As long as you don't just have something like 3D text floating around for way to long, it won't hurt to have one.
I personally have an outro but I don't think its important at all, it was just something I felt I wanted to use.
Thumbnails give your channel a nice polish, the best way to get them is make sure at least 1 of your video is monetized, and then you should get access to upload thumbnails to your videos :)
But at the end of the day, this is my opinion, your channel is what you want it to be.
