I've uploaded my custom thumbnail twice and each time youtube just says nope and goes back to the default thumbnail. I thought it was a cache issue. I cleared Chrome's browser history and the bad default one was still there. I asked friends and they all see the same thumbnail so it's not just what my channel is showing to me.
It is a miracle that somehow, someway, the video is still getting a high CTR and traffic despite the bad thumbnail, but, I can't help but feel with a good thumbnail it would have gotten even higher.
I perused the forums and was told that I simply need to wait a few days because youtube could be a little slow to update. It's been uploaded a total of three days. It still hasn't updated. Why is this happening?
