Thumbnail critique thread!

I am guessing your art is inspired by Adventure Time.

Well, about 2/3s of my channel is AT videos, so I got an avatar to match that and decided to just use it widely in thumbnails and whatnot.
What's funny is that I have been photoshopping actual photos of myself into thumbnails for my AT videos, whereas I'm using the cartoonified version of myself in my film reviews. Odd reversal I have going there but I kind of like how it ended up working that way.

I think the text will be unreadable if the thumbnail is showed in a small form.
Put the 1 minute review in the video title and the name of the movie a bit bigger in the thumbnail,

Also Maybe a bigger, iconic picture from the movie als the background

You can actually see a size similar to how it would appear on YT in ApexxWolf's quote. All the text is still easily legible (I'm surprised you think "Mad Max" is too small - honestly that's probably nearing the largest text size I would ever consider for a thumbnail). As for the screenshot from the film, I purposefully searched YT shorty before finding it with the very purpose of making sure I use one that has not been commonly used for everyone else's thumbnails. Iconic is good if you want something recognized, not so good if you're trying to stand out from a sea of similar stuff IMO.

I think the thumbnail is pretty cool! I like that circle indicating "1 minute review" its catchy :D
I think that cartoon guy should be enlarged a bit :)
Rest is awesome :D
