Thumbail problem on Youtube, please help!

Hey everyone.

I just uploaded a custom thumbnail for my first short film on Youtube, but the thumbnail is still the default one whenever I post the video somewhere like on Facebook and even on my channel trailer, the default thumbnail remains.

My thumbnail is suppose to have the title of my short film along with an HD logo. When I go to Video Manager, I can see the new custom thumbnail as the thumbnail for the video, but when I go to my channel page or post the video link anywhere else, the default thumbnail.

Can anyone explain why this is? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you :)
 
I think it already took effect. I checked your video and it already had Maya Shortfilm HD.
 
So sorry everyone! I just checked it and it changed, guess it just needed some time like you guys said :)

First time uploading a custom thumbnail so I thought something was messing up or I didn't do something correctly.

It can take a while to update. I upload mine when I'm uploading my videos. That way the thumb nail will update straight away as soon as the video has processed.
 
OK this is frustrating...so I just checked and the thumbnail turned back to the default one...on my channel trailer and on the links I post elsewhere.

Is this normal? Just want to be sure.
