Thread for games that allow monetized footage?

I've Got It
You know, we should make a stickified thread in this subforum for games that allow monetizing on their videos.

I know EverQuest II and Rust allows you to use footage from them any way you want.

But it would be nice to have a huge list of all the gaming companies that aren't evil, and their games.

Of course with sources to where they state it so one can check for sure. It would come in handy for people with gaming channels!

Ill sticky a thread if its unique ie not copied and pasted which includes the source links for each game/publisher etc TOS or wherever it states monetized usage in videos for commercial purposes is permitted :)

Maybe we should stickify a post that leads to pages with those games, then? Easier on us but still something that easens video creations a lot.

The problem is as I mentioned above some of those lists aren't that effective, it's missing hundreds, even thousands of developers and publishers from the list which is why it's best for content creators to do their own research into each individual publisher. Unless if as Michael said, someone was willing to create a full proper list and maintain it. Although it's also up to him if he wanted to Sticky that post as a separate thread.

The big question is, how big can a post be (in letters) and can they be edited indefinitely afterwards? A post like that would need a lot of afer-editing to work efficiently.

I don't think there's a limit but the spoiler tag could be used as a container for large blocks of text as for editing I think if you don't touch a thread for more than 30days you can't edit it anymore but only Michael could tell you what happens there.

That's what I mean. If it becomes uneditable, it ruins the entire thing... :/

Thank, you... for this... lol
