Thoughts on new Xbox One Headsets?

What are everyone's thoughts and the new headsets coming out for the xbox one? Also, what are your thoughts on them even needing new headsets and changing the adapter? Its all been of a lot of interest to me the past few weeks, and I would like to hear some other opinioins

dont have new gen consoles. useless at the moment.. no in the mood to pay 5000$ to play either one :/

It's only an issue if you plan on chatting with other people (and a lot of people do) since you cannot use your older headsets due to the new plug. It is dumb, yes, but it is a marketing strategy and it forces people to purchase new products that people would otherwise not buy.

I don't have my out-of-the-box headset because my friend is rigging it to work with the old headset cable; then I can chat with people using my Astros if I wanted to. So, I have no problem with it since I won't be using the default headset anyway.

Well I've had bad experience, from when I got my Xbox one it was never reliable, in some situations it was simply plug in and your good to go but much more recently I cannot hear anyone and no one can hear me, or other times i've had to unplug and plug it in like 30 times for it to work, I recommend using the kinect mic as it is a great step up from the 360 version but a spare headset is always great!
